Olympic Stadium Gets Architecture Award

The Populous-designed London 2012 Olympic Stadium was one of the winners of this year’s Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) awards.

Fifty buildings from across the UK have been recognised by RIBA. These, along with nine RIBA Award buildings from European Union countries, comprise the shortlist for the RIBA Stirling Prize, presented to the architects of the building that has made the greatest contribution to British architecture in the past year.
