Populous on Board with Queens Park Rangers

The Queens Park Rangers have appointed world-renowned sports architects Populous to design a bespoke, state-of-the-art training facility and community sports hub at the Warren Farm site in Ealing.

Populous have designed some of the most iconic buildings for professional and elite sports around the world including Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, Wembley Stadium, The New York Yankees Stadium and Olympic Stadia for Sydney 2000, London 2012 and Sochi 2014.

Substantial work has already been undertaken and now the final touches are being added to a comprehensive and detailed design process.

Queens Park Rangers CEO Philip Beard said: “It is fantastic to have Populous on board. Having secured Warren Farm, we wanted to work with the best people in the industry to develop a training ground which will benefit not only the first team, but also the academy and the local community.”
