Populous Facilities, Events & Clients Nominated for Sports Business Awards

Tonight, the annual Sports Business Awards, hosted by Sports Business Journal, will announce the industry’s best. This year, two Populous-designed facilities – Baylor University’s McLane Stadium and University of Phoenix Stadium – are nominated for Sports Facility of the Year. McLane Stadium opened in August 2014 to rave reviews, while University of Phoenix Stadium comes off an impactful year, hosting the second Super Bowl in just eight years. Events that Populous assisted in coordinating and planning are also nominated for Sports Event of the Year, including the MLB All Star Game, College Football Playoffs and Super Bowl XLIX.
