Game Changer: Sherri Privitera Named one of Sports Business Journal’s 2015 Game Changers

Sherri Privitera, RA, Principal at Populous, has been named one of Sports Business Journal’s 2015 Game Changers. Privitera is known for her impact on more than 50 universities through her involvement with more than 65 collegiate athletic facilities projects over the years. As one of the nation’s leading female architects in sports facility design, she’s had a lasting impact on campuses across the country. Her hard work, passion and understanding of the complexities of the business of collegiate athletics have helped universities make strategic decisions that generate revenue and create environments for student-athletes to succeed.

Most recently, Privitera led the design team for the $266 million McLane Stadium at Baylor University. She’s also impacted significant projects at the University of Minnesota, Georgetown University and Boise State University, among others.

Each year Sports Business Journal recognizes the leading women in sports at their annual Game Changers conference in New York City. This year’s list includes women in leading roles with Fox Sports, the Minnesota Twins, the NHL, Big 12 Conference, CBS Sports, Seattle Seahawks, Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs.
