BIM (Building Information Modelling): From RIBA Workstages A – M
Structured around the life of a construction project, this free NLA conference, in association with NBS, will examine how BIM (Building Information Modelling) can be applied right from design conception to planning, construction, and finally to the facilities management of a building. Using the RIBA Plan of Work as a guide, speakers will use real London case studies to illustrate how teams have used BIM across all phases of a building lifecycle and propose achievable solutions to problems they have encountered.
The conference will also give delegates an opportunity to contribute to the debate, with an opportunity to raise your own concerns around the practical application of BIM and identify obstacles that have not yet been removed or resolved.

NLA is an independent forum for debate about the future shape of the city and a permanent information resource about what’s happening in architecture, planning, development and construction across the capital.
A year-round programme of events, publications and exhibitions bring together politicians, professionals and the public to share knowledge, analyse policy, debate change and identify opportunities.
Our galleries at the Building Centre in central London are open free of charge six days a week.
