Cindy Yip

Associate, Architectural Technician / Brisbane

Cindy joined Populous in August of 2005, and has over 15 years experience as an Architectural Technician.

Cindy has been involved in the design and documentation of numerous sport and entertainment buildings throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia. She worked on the Queensland Tennis Centre in Brisbane, from Schematic Design through to Detailed Design, providing drafting and documentation services. Prior to her work on the Tennis Centre, Cindy was involved in the early design stages of the Eden Park Redevelopment in Auckland, Penang Racecourse in Malaysia and CBus Super Stadium on the Gold Coast.

Cindy was also involved in the design of the new 50,000 seat arena in Manila. Philippine Arena is the largest indoor arena in the world, and has become a landmark building for the people of the Philippines.

Most recently, Cindy worked on Western Sydney Stadium, Randwick Racecourse and Queensland Raceway.

Cindy’s architectural interest lies in design development – taking an initial concept sketch and transferring the ideas into computer aided design software. In addition to her Bachelor of Architectural Studies, Cindy has undertaken an Advanced CAD Course to further her skills in design development.
