  • London

Since joining Populous in 2014, Scott has worked on the Lord’s South-Western Project, Lord’s Warner Stand and the Lord’s Masterplan.

Scott joined the Populous London office after completing his Bachelor of Design in Architecture at Queensland University of Technology. Prior to this he worked as a Senior Civil Designer at a global multi-disciplinary engineering firm, where he specialised in the design of civil infrastructure projects including road design, earthworks, underground utilities and master planning. Scott approaches architectural design from a multi-disciplinary perspective, drawing upon his experience across a variety of fields. His current project experience has allowed him to gain experience in a wide variety of areas, from planning right through to construction.

Scott has a keen interest in health and fitness and lives an active outdoor lifestyle which he believes is critical to living a happy, healthy and well balanced life. His interest in fitness and sport is what led him to pursue a career with Populous; a presentation from Populous at his graduation ceremony marked the moment when he realised that a career in Sports Architecture could be a reality.

He believes that design is a form of communication which expresses a team’s goal, facilitates community engagement and enhances human interaction. He feels that this is clearly depicted in Populous projects where masterplanning, architecture and landscape design combine into one seamless package that provides a platform for the most spectacular and memorable occasions to occur.
