“The 2002 FIFA World Cup was so much more than just a competition for the people in Korea. I was one of over 500,000 people sitting on the ground of Seoul City Hall Plaza, sweating, cheering, and praying for our team’s victory against Italy. A golden goal from Korea provided one of the World Cup’s biggest shocks as we knocked Italy 2:1 out of the competition. That moment, that second when the goal hit the back of the net, the nation turned into one big stadium. People went out and took the streets to celebrate and show our support and appreciation to the national team. We all had a long night with friends, cheering, singing, and marching the streets. Korea took fourth place overall which is an unbelievable achievement. It was the best match of the World Cup for me and something that I will always remember.”

Lim joined Populous after moving to Australia from Korea in 2014. He has a Bachelor of Interior Design from Kookmin University in Seoul, Korea which he completed in 2013. Lim specialises in parametric design and is experienced in Grasshopper.
