Warrick has spent the past 14 years working on the design, client liaison and project management of a number of stadia projects in Australia, New Zealand and England, including a five year period on Wembley National stadium in London.

Warrick was born in Queensland, and graduated from the University of Queensland with Honours in 1996. He concentrated on stadia design in the latter years of his tertiary studies and his final year thesis researched Stadia Design in the 20th Century.

Warrick returned to Brisbane from London in September 2004, and worked on the Eden Park Redevelopment and the RNA Showgrounds Masterplan in Brisbane before beginning his role on Skilled Park on the Gold Coast in September 2005. He was Project Leader on this award-winning project and also led the design team for the new Premiership Stand at Simonds Stadium in Geelong from 2008 to 2010. In 2009 he led the Stadium Infrastructure Review for Football Federation Australia in their bid for the FIFA World Cup 2022 and in this period also worked on a new 5,000 seat multi-purpose arena in Hamilton, New Zealand.

Currently he is Project Leader on the redevelopment of the Sydney Showground Main Arena – to be known as Skoda Stadium – that will be used as the home ground for the new Greater Western Sydney Giants AFL team. He is also leading the next stage of redevelopment at Skilled Stadium in Geelong along with a new elite training facility for the Cats.

Warrick has developed a high understanding of the development of the design aspects for complex stadia projects after extensive experience on numerous wellknown sports venues. He has excellent client liaison skills and understands the needs of our clients and spectators from a design, functionality and operational perspective.
