Tennis in Queensland has a new home - the purpose built Queensland Tennis Centre

The roof over Centre Court acts as both a parasol and an umbrella, providing both the outdoor atmosphere of tennis, and a permanent shade cover

The tennis centre features a 5,500 seat centre court, 16 outside hard courts, four outside clay courts and two high quality grass courts

The history of Australian tennis is displayed inside Centre Court as an added attraction to visitors

The centre is capable of hosting international tournaments as well as providing a home for elite tennis in Queensland and a training centre for Brisbane

It's integrated with a recreational campus & also a larger civic complex.

The complex hosts tournaments & also functions as a public facility.

The sports park includes a 30,000 seat stadium, gymnastics hall, natatorium, tennis centre and training hall

On non-game days the central plaza will be a community space for exercise and entertainment

The master plan included a 22,000-seat Center Court & two smaller courts.
