Populous Senior Principal Joe Spear Featured in The Art of Doing

Joe Spear, Populous Senior Principal and renowned designer of some of the nation’s greatest Major League Baseball parks, will be included in The Art of Doing, a new book by Camille Sweeney and Josh Gosfield to be released in January 2013. The book features superachievers in various fields who are considered the best at what they do. From actors Laura Linney and Alec Baldwin to Zappos’ CEO Tony Hsieh to baseball legend Yogi Berra, Joe Spear is included among elite talent. The section of the book featuring Spear, called “How to Build a Beautiful Baseball Park,” explores Joe’s ballpark designs across the country and what makes each of them unique to their communities.
