Populous-designed Great American Ball Park Selected to Host 2015 MLB All-Star Game

Populous-designed Great American Ball Park, home of the Cincinnati Reds, has been selected as the host of the 2015 Major League Baseball All-Star Game. The date of the event is to be determined.  The Cincinnati Reds last hosted an All-Star Game in 1988, while the team was still at Riverfront Stadium. This will be the first All-Star Game in the new ballpark, which opened in 2003. Populous ballparks have hosted eight of the last 10 MLB All-Star Games and with today’s announcement, are scheduled to host the next three games at Citi Field (2013), Target Field (2014) and Great American Ball Park (2015).
