Cian O’Mahony
Architectural Graduate / Sydney
With over three years of professional experience, Cian is a graduate architect specialising in crafting architectural designs for diverse projects, including commercial, public and residential buildings in Ireland and the UK.
Cian joined Populous in 2022 and has been involved in several exciting projects, such as designing stadia, arenas, convention and exhibition centres and elite training facilities across Asia and Australia. He is passionate about sports, 3D visualisation, model making and architectural competitions.
Notably, Cian’s thesis design, titled ‘Between Borders,’ received international recognition, winning two prestigious awards: the RIAI Student of Excellence Award and the IOC/IPC/IAKS Student/Young Professional Architecture Prize.
