Isolde Kiriakoff

Architectural Graduate / Brisbane

Isolde (nicknamed Ollie) first studied a Bachelor of Architecture (with Honors) then completed her Master of Architecture at Queensland University of Technology. Since graduating, she has worked across multiple architecture firms in Brisbane, before then relocating to London.

During her time in the United Kingdom, she gained valuable experience in stadium design where her focus shifted towards mastering the development of technical details for construction. Ollie then became part of the Populous family, joining the team in London. Ollie has played an integral part of many large projects and key events, including stadium design for the 2019 Para and Pan American Games, and the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Ollie’s valuable experience in project planning, technical documentation, compliance, roof design, signage and wayfinding led her to then return to Australia to be part of both the Sydney and Brisbane Populous teams. She has a keen interest in sustainable architecture, demonstrated by the focus of her Masters degree, biomimetic and biophilic architecture. Isolde aims to integrate sustainability principles into her work, creating both environmentally and social sustainable architecture. During her travels Ollie has used her skills as part of community projects, including building eco-housing in Mexico and El Salvador.
