John brings over 25 years of business management and financial experience to Populous. As Regional Operations Officer based in our Brisbane APAC headquarters, John oversees the financial and legal compliance for Populous throughout the Asia-Pacific region, including the integration, improvement of reporting systems to support informed business and strategic decisions.
John joined Populous in January 2020, bringing extensive experience from within multi-national organisations in the property, construction and finance sectors to the senior leadership team.
As Chief Financial Officer for CBRE (a Fortune 500 company), Savills Australia & New Zealand, McVay Real Estate and Walz Group, John lead the successful completion and integration of more than 30 business acquisitions, drove double digit growth in revenue and profitability and supported business leaders to deliver strategic initiatives and maintain business culture.
