Populous Assists NFL with Planning of NFL Draft

The NFL Draft, which occurred Thursday, April 30^th through Saturday, May 2^nd, is one of football’s most exciting events. Populous was involved for the 11^th consecutive year in the event design, temporary facilities, signage and wayfinding and event logistics, assisting the NFL and their staff. The firm’s role involved multiple theatre evaluations prior to the NFL choosing the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago. After theatre selection, Populous worked closely with the NFL staff for months in advance to support the processes and operations of the event while transforming the Auditorium Theater into a fan and broadcast friendly facility and venue to accommodate close to 3,000 fans. The event was held in Chicago the first time in 51 years.
