Populous-designed Fowler Park Opens to National Fanfare

Populous-designed Fowler Park at the University of San Diego opened Feb. 15 to national fanfare. Home of the Toreros, the 1,700 seat venue was called “a jewel” by the Associated Press and Baseball America noted that “USD can now boast one of the marquee showcase ballparks on the West Coast – and one of the prettiest parks in all of college baseball.” The $13.8 million stadium renovation included creating five levels, suite space and a new, 6,800 square foot team clubhouse.
