Hideaki Taguchi

Hideaki Taguchi delivers sports and entertainment venues that embody and reflect the communities in which they are built. His designs can be characterized as the pursuit of spaces that have a direct connection to everyday life, fostering the creation of memorable experiences, revitalizing cities and positively impacting the environment.

With more than 25 years of experience, Hideaki focuses primarily on ballpark design. He is currently serving as project designer for the renovations of Rogers Centre, home of the Toronto Blue Jays. He also played a vital role in the design of Citi Field and Target Field.

He is bilingual, speaking fluent Japanese, which aided him in working on the new Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters ballpark. He excels at conceptualization and visualization design, utilizing hand sketching and 3D modeling software. In his free time, Hideaki enjoys fly-fishing and Formula-1 racing.
