Jaebong Jeon focuses on transportation and public assembly design projects. Before joining Populous, he worked with Gansam Architect in Seoul, Korea, where he was actively involved in construction documentation and administration on a wide range of projects, including religious, hospitality, commercial retail and office building types. Jaebong is deeply committed to the balance of theory and practice in the context of addressing large-scale international developments at Populous.

Educated at the Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture, Cooper Union, where he received his Master of Architecture II degree, he trained under the contemporary design theorist, Diana Agrest focusing on the balance of critical thinking and rigorous craftsmanship in the design process. He has been recognized in many regional and international competitions, including the International VELUX Award, Central Glass International Architectural Competition and the Docomomo Korea design competition.
