Taryn McQueen

Principal, Senior Architect / Brisbane

Taryn joined Populous in 2010 after finishing her Bachelor of Architectural Design at the University of Queensland.

Her first major project was the expansion and redevelopment of Cazaly stadium in Cairns. Initially, Taryn worked on the design of the stadium, and later oversaw the construction and delivery of the project.

In 2011 Taryn worked on the Queensland Tennis Centre flood repair work before returning to UQ to complete her Masters. In 2012/13 while Taryn was completing her Masters of Architecture she spent a number of months in Sydney working on the $1b Darling Harbour Live development.

At the end of 2013 Taryn returned as a permanent member of the Brisbane office and has since worked on the Rockhampton Stadium Feasibility report, PNG National Football Stadium and the Masterplan for Eden Park.
