University of Minnesota-Duluth AMSOIL Arena

AMSOIL Arena is a modern, flexible addition to the existing Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center. The design pays homage to Duluth, its lakefront and an iconic lift bridge and harbor. It was inspired by native materials such as taconite and the angular natural geometries of northern Minnesota. The arena was designed primarily to accommodate the nationally-renowned men’s and women’s ice hockey programs at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. In addition, it can accommodate a wide range of events such as concerts, family shows, basketball and arena football.
