Delhi Convention & Exhibition Centre

Delhi

The Delhi Convention and Exhibition Centre has been master planned as a cohesive urban development that carefully fuses the traditional with the contemporary to achieve a holistic design solution that will become the showcase for the city of Delhi as it prepares for the 2010 Commonwealth Games.

The two million square foot project is comprised of multiple jewel-like convention, exhibition and hotel buildings clustered around a vibrant and active public square reminiscent of the Bazaar or ‘Chowk’. The public spaces flow in and out of this central space which is intended to become the heart of this development.

The project has been designed to encompass 300,000 square feet of exhibition space, a 12,000 seater plenary auditorium, 50,000 square feet of meeting space, 450,000 square feet of retail, 700 hotel rooms and 100 serviced apartments.
