FedEx Field

Landover, Maryland, United States

FedEx Field was designed to complement the towering white marbled monuments and surrounding architecture of Washington, D.C. The exterior of the stadium is clad in white from the aluminum facing and light fixtures to the steel trusses supporting the upper deck. The stadium’s sheer size also gives it a monumental quality. At 15 stories, the monuments of the District of Columbia can be seen from the upper concourse. A retractable seating platform at one end zone allows for greater seating capacities during concerts.
