Located adjacent to the existing DakotaDome, the Sanford Coyote Sports Center includes a new arena along with a separate arena club and stadium club for game days that can also be used for academic functions year-round. In addition to enhancing fan experience, the arena features two separate practice gyms, a strength training facility that includes biomechanics, kinesiology and human performance labs, and new team locker rooms for men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball programs. The complex also houses new athletic administrative offices and physical therapy, occupational therapy and kinesiology & health sciences, providing world-class educational opportunities for USD students.
