The stadium's rectangular design embodies the essence of the Gold Coast, featuring a simple facade wrapped in PTFE fabric that maximizes natural ventilation—an ideal match for the subtropical climate. Its single-tier seating bowl ensures an intimate spectator experience with optimal viewing angles, while the cantilever roof on all sides enhances acoustic and visual ambiance.

Incorporating sustainable practices like water reticulation and open concourses to reduce reliance on artificial lighting and ventilation, CBUS Super Stadium exemplifies environmental responsibility. Beyond rugby league, its primary sport, the venue hosts rugby union, soccer, and a variety of entertainment events.

Moreover, the stadium has catalyzed a new transport hub in Robina, with over 80% of patrons opting for public transportation to and from events—a testament to its accessibility and community impact.
