McLane Stadium, Baylor University’s new football stadium opening Sunday, August 31, has been heralded as a “palace” and noted as “changing everything for Baylor.” To celebrate the opening, Baylor has released a timelapse of construction, showing the rapid development of the site and facility over the past two years. The 45,000 seat stadium, located on the Brazos River and adjacent to I-35, hosted its first event on Thursday evening, followed by a full schedule of activities leading up to the Bears opening game against SMU on Sunday.
