What Does Google Glass Mean for the Future of the Fan Experience?

February 26, 2013

Google Glass debuted last week and people all over the globe began to share via Twitter, using #IfIHadGlass, what they would do if they got their hands on the new technology.

Here at Populous, we are excited about the implications of this technology on the fan experience and sports facility design. What if you could see 70,000 different views of the field for a big game? What if you could see precisely how many yards a quarterback threw a ball? What if you could perceive how it feels to be a Major League batter being thrown a curveball?

We’re already thinking about how this could impact stadium design – watch here for more of our ideas.
