Andrew Tulen
Andrew has designed some of the world’s most ambitious sport and entertainment precincts that are attracting global Games and international artists, making Southeast Asia in particular a must visit for any tour. His global portfolio includes the transformative Jamsil Sports Park and MICE Development in Seoul, Shah Alam Sports Complex in Selangor and Rach Chiec National Sports Complex, which will place Vietnam on the global events map.
Andrew’s designs shape venues beyond function to create lasting public and community impact, setting the foundations for cities to host World Cups, Olympic & Paralympic Games and multi-night residencies by artists like Taylor Swift.
From Melbourne, heading Populous’ Singapore studio and having spent most of his career based in Southeast Asia, Andrew brings a collaborative approach to design combining international ideas with local culture. He firmly believes that the success of any venue lies in aligning the aspirations of the community, the operators and the owners through a cohesive architectural response.
