September 5, 2014

Located directly off I-35 and on the Brazos River, the design included the addition of two pedestrian bridges, boat docks and opportunities for the university and city to build game day traditions. Richard Justice, from USA Today’s Sports on Earth says “McLane Stadium is a work of art in every way,” and goes on to explain that “it might be in the most beautiful setting of its sport,” and that “Baylor has built something that will completely change the way its football team, if not its university, is seen… It might just be the gold standard.” Brandon Chatmon of ESPN calls it “One of the most innovative venues in the nation” one that “few college football cathedrals can match.” Yahoo Sports’ Graham Watson calls the design “the blueprint for new college football stadiums in the future,” while David Ubben of FOX Sports explains that “The bar in Waco has reached once unthinkable heights.”  Read more about McLane Stadium.
