Working out of our San Francisco office, Amber teams with Jeff Funovits in Pittsburgh to lead Populous’ campus planning practice and offer innovative design solutions for educators and students across the United States and beyond. She touts 15 years of experience in urban planning and building design for education and workplace markets in North America and the Middle East.

Amber has designed five LEED-certified projects with four others awaiting certification. Her past work includes a data-driven study and planning recommendation covering 1.6 million square feet on the University of Buffalo campus. Leading a team of data-scientists, she created a roadmap to transform underutilized spaces into interdisciplinary collaboration zones and measure success well into the future.

Day-to-day, she loves bringing clients together to collaborate with one another, solve problems and find fresh perspectives. She routinely guest writes and speaks for education-focused publications and events including the annual ERAPPA conference.
