Peter Lang

  • Architect / Senior Associate
  • Kansas City

With more than 15 years of experience as an architect, Peter has brought to life projects in the collegiate, convention center, entertainment, commercial and residential markets. His approach to design begins with understanding the social fabric surrounding a community. In his eyes, a project’s impact should radiate beyond its property line.

Peter’s work touches all phases of project delivery from concept to post-occupancy. Iconic venues he’s contributed to over the years include Neyland Stadium at the University of Tennessee, Kyle Field at Texas A&M and Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Fla.

His commitment to community extends beyond his time at Populous as well. He volunteered as a program officer with the International Rescue Committee during the breakup of the former Yugoslavia. He’s also designed rapid-transit bus shelters in the urban core of Kansas City. Peter lives in the city’s Crossroads Arts District in a loft that he designed and built.
