Denver Summit FC Celebrates Grand Opening of CommonSpirit Performance Center

Designed by Populous, the state-of-the-art CommonSpirit Performance Center establishes a new home for elite performance, community engagement and the future of professional soccer in Colorado.

Denver Summit FC, along with civic leaders, community partners, supporters and club representatives celebrated the official ribbon cutting of the CommonSpirit Performance Center in Centennial, Colo., a premier training and performance facility designed to meet the specific performance requirements of elite female athletes.

“Populous is honored to be part of this transformational project in Denver. We are defining excellence in design for women’s professional sports and committed to supporting the success of Denver Summit FC,” said Sherri Privitera, Senior Principal at Populous.

Spanning 20,000 square feet, the CommonSpirit Performance Center acts as the club’s permanent training base and includes two natural grass fields, a natural grass agility zone and one artificial turf pitch. The facility also boasts a state-of-the-art weight room, a cryotherapy chamber, hydrotherapy pools, a sauna and red-light therapy room to support peak physical and mental performance.

The facility provides world-class resources for athletes while creating opportunities to inspire and engage the next generation of players and fans.
