Architectural Designer / Christchurch
Andrew completed a Bachelor of Architectural Studies and Master of Architecture at the Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. He then joined the Populous team in Sydney, working primarily on ICC Sydney Exhibition Centre, taking on responsibilities in structural and architectural documentation, document control, structural coordination, and building code coordination. Andrew then relocated to form part of the Populous team in London, where he spent 5 years refining his expertise working on large-scale, multipurpose venues for sports and entertainment throughout Europe and the Middle East.
His advanced technical skills in Revit and experience across all stages of project development have enabled Andrew to excel in multiple roles in his career, from Revit Technician, Sustainability Coordinator, BIM Project Lead, Structural Coordinator, MEP Coordinator to Project Lead.
Holistic sustainable design is a passion of Andrew’s, leading him to complete his BREEAM Accredited Professional qualification in the UK, demonstrating skills in sustainability and environmental design. Andrew has since returned to New Zealand, now part of the Populous team in Christchurch in the role of Architectural Designer.
