Ben Stacey

Senior Associate, Architect / Brisbane

Ben completed both a Bachelor of Design (Architectural Studies) and Master of Architecture at Queensland University of Technology, and was awarded a Royal Australian Institute of Architects QIA Medallion in 2014.

After graduating, Ben relocated to London where he established his firm experience in sports architecture, working on large-scale projects such as FIFA 2022 Stadiums and Pan-American Games venues. During this time he completed stadia bowl and seating packages from concept design phases through to completed construction documentation. He played an integral role in the design team, as well as coordinating consultant and client communication.

Ben then joined the Populous team in London where he used his expertise to develop schematic design and bowl design concepts for projects in the Middle East as well as Europe.

Now part of the team in Brisbane, Ben continues to contribute his knowledge and skills, playing a key role in the concept and design of projects throughout Asia-Pacific. Ben’s passion for sport and architecture has led him to develop a strong interest in creating venues that allow for outstanding spectator experiences and strong community engagement.
