Dan Schaaf

Dan Schaaf has a deep understanding of how the natural environment impacts the built environment and, in turn, how the built environment impacts the world around it. With nearly 30 years of experience as a landscape architect, Dan collaborates with other professionals to survey a site and effectively blend architecture and the natural world.

Dan is knowledgeable in a variety of areas, including master planning, site planning, planting plans and working drawings. He is very personable and excels at fostering and maintaining client relationships.

As a leader and collaborator, Dan is always eager to share knowledge with junior associates. He excels at communicating clearly and efficiently, which helps him keep projects focused on client goals. Dan’s ability to see the contextual possibilities of a structure and its surrounding landscape informs his expert design work.
