Karen Halagao

Karen is an architect with 20 years’ experience in the design of commercial buildings both in Australia and overseas. Before joining Populous Sydney in 2019, she worked on a diverse range of projects spanning hospitality, high-rise residential, commercial, industrial, mixed-use, educational, recreational and healthcare facilities.
Currently serving as the ESD analyst in the Sydney studio, Karen has played a pivotal role in notable projects like the Stadium Australia Redevelopment, Kai Tak Sports Park, Te Kaha, Cotai Arena and Penrith Stadium. Her expertise extends from the initial conceptual stage of architectural projects to the construction documentation stage. She is an expert in BIM design, modelling and coordination.
