Oliver Walchshofer

Oliver completed a Bachelor of Design in Architecture Studies before then continuing his study with a Master of Architecture, both at Queensland University of Technology. Since graduating Oliver has gained key experience working on a broad range of building types from mixed-use, commercial, to retail and education projects.

Oliver’s broad skill set includes vast experience as a documentation lead across boutique and large multi-stage projects. His technical expertise has been utilised in developing BIM library and documentation standards prior to joining Populous.

Now part of the Brisbane team at Populous, Oliver has been working on developing the public open space surrounding the large-scale Kai Tak Sports Park in Hong Kong. Oliver is passionate about urban and modular design, with a keen interest in affordable housing and passive design. Oliver’s interests outside of design include AFL, Basketball, Video gaming, and LEGO.
