With over 20 years of experience, Patrick has extensive expertise in a variety of markets, including convention centers, sports, collegiate, entertainment, healthcare, energy and biotechnology. His impressive portfolio includes projects spanning the globe, from the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Thuwal, Saudia Arabia, a 5.5-million-sq.-ft. research institute that was the largest LEED Platinum certified project in the world upon completion, to the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, IA, a 287,700-sq.-ft. site that incorporates multiple venues and hosts numerous events, such as trade shows, conventions, sporting events and live entertainment. His experience designing a variety of building types has equipped him with a thorough knowledge of the needs of commercial and institutional users, and he constantly seeks opportunities to elevate experience design in our built environment.

Patrick excels at leading multifaceted design teams on complex national and international projects. He has a constant desire to maintain harmony and collaboration across complex project teams while always keeping the client vision in focus. In addition to his project work, he is also passionate about fostering the next generation of designers. He tirelessly works within the firm to elevate and educate upcoming team members on the intricacies and complicated nature of these project types through lunch and learns, individual support sessions, and group events outside the office.
