Populous hires leadership in Denver office to expand architectural offerings
January 20, 2016
As part of the firm’s continued growth, Populous today welcomed Kevin Armstrong, Gudmundur Jonsson and Meg Rapp as architects in the firm’s Denver office. The three architects will help the office expand its regional architectural practice and its national pursuit of recreation centers. Armstrong, Jonsson and Rapp have extensive experience in sports, event, and recreation center design. The Denver office continues to focus on event planning services in addition to its architectural focus on designing places that draw people together, including professional and collegiate sports facilities, convention centers, airports, hospitality, recreation centers and community centers.
“An even broader presence in the Denver area and beyond affords us rapid access to our clients’ needs and a fantastic design talent pool and allows us to continue to focus on what we do best – creating the places and events where people love to be together,” said Americas Managing Director and Senior Principal Earl Santee, FAIA. “As we grow, we continue to seek the people who will strengthen our practice and help build a bold future for the firm. Along with office additions in Boston, San Francisco and Pittsburgh, our broadened focus in Denver will allow us to strengthen our national reach which rests on hiring the most talented people.”
