
Amie Edser

Amie Edser is an Associate Principal and Architect at Populous with more than 17 years of experience across diverse project types and scales. Before joining the firm in 2019, she led numerous architectural and interior design commissions, developing strong expertise in both design leadership and project delivery. These experiences continue to inform her approach to large-scale, complex venues in the Asia Pacific region.
At Populous, Amie has taken leadership roles on some of the region’s most significant sports and entertainment projects. She served as Lead Architect for the Kai Tak Sports Park Main Stadium in Hong Kong, Masterplan and Hotel Lead for the Jamsil Sports MICE Complex in Seoul, and Management Lead for the Penrith Stadium Redevelopment in Sydney. She also contributed to the advancement of planning for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic precinct and spent time in Populous’ Japan office, where she was instrumental in progressing the Ishikawa Arena project. Following the announcement of Brisbane to host the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Amie has been involved with various strategic planning stages and reviews, to support the government in preparing for the Games. These experiences have strengthened both her regional expertise and her ability to work across cultures and markets.
In addition to her design leadership, Amie serves as the Acting Head of Operations for the Asia Pacific region, providing strategic oversight of business operations. She is also the System Manager for Populous’ Integrated Management Systems, ensuring best practice and compliance across the firm. These dual responsibilities highlight her capacity to balance creative leadership with operational strategy and business performance.

Her broad international experience underpins her ability to lead complex projects with confidence, creativity and a commitment to design that connects communities.
