Dillon Diers

Dillon joined OJB Studios in 2006 immediately after graduating. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. As a Senior Principal, Dillon has been with the firm for more than 20 years. He started his career at OJB, where he has held a series of increasingly responsible positions from Associate up to his current role as Partner. Through his years at OJB, his projects have fallen under a wide range of scale, including creative workplace, mixed-use, retail, and urban design projects throughout the U.S. and Mexico.

With his collective experience, he has worked with several accomplished architects, making him a highly sought-after collaborator. Studying the intersection of the natural and social context of a place to inform the public realm is central to Dillon’s process. Underpinning all his design work is his cohesive approach to planting design and deep respect for sense-of-place and ethic of environmental responsibility. In his free time, he also is a thoughtful writer and speaker, including contributions to Urban Land Institute and ASLA.
