With over 35 years of architectural and design expertise spanning Australia and Asia, Fiona Nixon is a leader in experience-driven design. She specializes in creating immersive spaces for people to enjoy. 

As Populous’ APAC Head of Design, she curates and elevates design processes across all projects in the region, ensuring excellence at every scale. She collaborates closely with Populous’ global design leadership, contributing to the firm’s integrated network of design innovators. 

Fiona combines deep technical expertise with strategic briefing, master planning and design management capability. She is also an experienced educator, awards juror and industry panellist, contributing to architectural discourse globally. 

A licensed Architect in Singapore, Australia and APEC, Fiona is a member of the Singapore Institute of Architects and in 2024 was awarded a prestigious Life Fellowship of the Australian Institute of Architects in recognition of her contribution to the advancement of the architectural profession.
