Shelly Malyarov

Shelly is the Regional Chief Financial Officer for the Americas, bringing more than 20 years of accounting, finance and treasury management experience to Populous. In her role, Shelly is responsible for providing strategic financial stewardship across the region, ensuring disciplined financial governance, robust performance management and the creation of sustainable, long-term value.

Throughout her career, and during her tenure at Populous, Shelly has demonstrated the ability to positively impact revenue growth through both organic and strategic growth. Her leadership has strengthened financial performance, enhanced operational effectiveness and supported the successful scaling of the business across diverse markets.

Reporting jointly to the Global Chief Financial Officer and the Managing Director of the Americas, Shelly serves as a key strategic partner in aligning regional financial strategy with global priorities, while remaining responsive to local and regional business needs.

As a member of the Americas Core Team, she collaborates closely with operational leaders to provide insight-driven guidance, enable sound decision-making and advance operational excellence.

Shelly also serves as a trusted advisor to the Americas Regional Board, delivering clear, timely, and comprehensive financial statements, analyses, and insights to support effective governance and oversight. Her responsibilities include oversight of financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, statutory and management reporting, risk management, and regulatory compliance across the Americas region.

With a leadership approach grounded in collaboration, transparency and strategic insight, Shelly ensures the region’s financial performance not only supports immediate business objectives but also advances Populous’ long-term global strategy.
