Amy Stortz Miller

Principal, Senior Interior Designer / Kansas City

For Amy Stortz Miller, there is nothing more important than witnessing the first moment people experience a new or revitalized space. Amy’s skill set is highlighted by notable high-end restaurant design work as well as stadium architecture and interior design.

Amy’s designs are guided by observing and reflecting how people use spaces, which requires a deep understanding of the residents and community her projects are based within. Amy conducts extensive local and regional touring and speaks with many unique voices within a community to ensure authenticity in all her projects.

Amy is responsible for all phases of interior design, from programming to construction administration. Amy’s passion for her work is expressed not only through her groundbreaking designs, but in her love of design overall. She is energized by actively participating in ideas becoming reality, and interior and exterior architecture informing and interacting with each other.

Amy’s work has been recognized in publications including Interior Design Magazine, Retail Environments Magazine and ArchitectureDC Magazine. She has also won awards from organizations like AIA DC, the Illuminating Engineering Society and the Association for Retail.
