George Farrington

George is an experienced designer and project manager who has spent most of his career in the design of temporary overlay or of permanent sports venues, both in Australia and internationally. George has held various roles working within Government and for the private sector, both client, consultant/contractor side.
He has a sound understanding of the workings and priorities of government, and the motivations and sensitivities of contractors. George is highly skilled in major event bids, event venue design and overlay, the design of sporting venues and master planning, as well as design management and project management.
He was instrumental in the project coordination for a number of Olympic Games and Commonwealth Games venues and bids, as well as other large-scale, multi-faceted projects. George holds both a Bachelor of Science (Architecture) and a Bachelor of Architecture tertiary qualifications.
