Senior Associate, Project Architect / Hong Kong
Ismael completed a Master of Architecture before then gaining professional experience across a multitude of commercial projects.
As a Senior Architect and Design Leader, Ismael was previously involved in multiple recognisable design competitions including Terminal 3 at Hong Kong Airport and Guangzhou Rural Bank Headquarters. He is now part of the Populous team in Hong Kong as a Project Architect, working on the large-scale Kai Tak Sports Park project.
His broad skill set includes an interest in urban planning, ensuring different parts of cityscapes are well-planned, activated and strategically designed. Ismael ensures that parametric designs are applied to his projects, producing creative architectural solutions. His passion for architecture also extends to building and aerial photography, including pro-bono work for charities in his spare time.
