Sima Bdeir

Architectural Designer / London

Sima earned her 5-year Bachelor of Architecture degree from Carnegie Mellon University in the US, where she was on the Dean’s List for Academic Achievement for four semesters. Having won the Alumni Ambassador grant, she furthered her studies at the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia in Barcelona.

Her first year at Populous in 2017 was spent working on Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. She produced technical drawings, 3D outputs, and parametrically-scripted design solutions, where her work was mainly focused on the stadium façade and the skywalk.

She is currently leading a pro-bono grandstand project at the Azraq Refugee camp in Jordan.
