University of Texas South End Zone Project

Austin, Texas, United States

Our design of the new south end zone will fully enclose the stadium for the first time in its history. Complete with a Longhorn-shaped balcony — an industry first — the new space will provide an electric atmosphere for fans, a new home for football coaches’ offices and an opportunity to broadcast the Longhorn brand to millions. New premium experiences will include eight founders suites, a field club and patio adjacent to Bevo and unique loge boxes and living room boxes with a dedicated club. Students will have a one-of-a-kind game day vantage point with corner patios and seating adjacent to the Longhorn Network Game Day show.

The new football training facility will provide athletes with a motivating environment to train and a competitive edge to appeal to recruits. Atmospheric LED lighting framing two custom pools complete with video boards and waterfalls anchors the sports medicine suite. Other amenities include a cryotherapy chamber, float pods and a concussion recovery room complete with light therapy and sleep pods. Throughout the building, heart thumping sound systems and bespoke nutrition solutions create a unique experience for each student-athlete. Dynamic branding weaves the story of Texas Football throughout with high impact custom messaging that blends static and adaptable graphic solutions.
