Nicholas Malyon
Nick is a registered Architect and Lead Project Designer with more than 15 years of experience working on dynamic, city-shaping projects. He has a Bachelor of Design and Master of Architecture from the University of Technology Sydney. Nick has been instrumental in shaping the design of a wide range of major sports and entertainment projects throughout Asia Pacific, North America and the Middle East and specialises in the design of Ballparks, Stadiums, Arenas and mixed-use developments.
Since joining Populous in 2013, Nick has spent extended periods in our Sydney, Brisbane and Kansas City offices, working across several market sectors and has designed venues and experiences for several top professional sports leagues, including MLB, KBO, NPB, MLS, NRL and the A-League.
Nick is a solution-based designer who understands the nuances of collaborating in large, complex teams, often working across multiple offices and time zones. He blends his passion for sport and Architecture with his creativity and technical expertise to create unique venues and experiences centred around fan engagement and aesthetic design outcomes.
