New Inter Milan Stadium

Populous has been engaged to work with FC Internazionale Milano on the development of a new, 70,000 capacity stadium for the storied Italian club on the outskirts of Milan, in the municipality of Rozzano.

The project will encompass a state of the art, sustainable stadium, providing optimal accessibility, the best comfort and facilities, and an exciting immersive experience for the club’s passionate fans.

The stadium will be surrounded by greenery and equipped with refreshment areas, shops and other services. Outside, a sports district with welcome areas for fans and visitors will be accessible 365 days a year and complement the surrounding park.

The project will also contribute to the development of the city, with excellent connections to the centre of Milan, integrating with existing infrastructure.

The whole project will be centred on the ideas and needs of the Inter fans, and the club has launched a survey that will involve the entire Nerazzuri community to get their views and opinions on the club’s proposed new home. This will run alongside ongoing dialogue between the club and institutions and stakeholders involved.
